Consistent and accurate mail delivery has been a problem in Pope Valley for years. But since January 2023 it has been ridiculous. The female who is in the post office sorting the mail is totally incompetent. It seems like the mail bag is dumped on the floor and random bundles of mail are picked up and delivered to the wrong address. I have not received any mail addressed to me for over a week. I have received store ad flyers that go in everyone’s mailbox and mail addressed to other people who live miles away from me. I had a person hand deliver my mail to me because they received it and wrote “wrong address” and a week later they had it back in their mailbox…so they drove 15 miles to my house since they were bills and other time sensitive mail. Did the person in the post office receive ANY training? Why are they not understanding the basics of mail sorting….and the mail delivery driver and her gossiping about what mail some neighbors have received.
I don’t have a lot of paper mail but my water and garbage is delivered USPS. I just want my mail.
Consistent and timely mail delivery has been a problem in Pope Valley for years but since January 2023 it has been ridiculous. The person sorting the mail NEEDS SOME TRAINING in how to sort mail, it seems to be done at the moment by throwing the mail in the air and bundling whatever fell close to each other. I have not had mail in my box for over a week unless it’s somebody else’s misdelivered mail or a store sale flyer that gets put in everyone’s mailbox. My bills are late or never arrive, my mail is being delivered to a different neighborhood about 15 miles away and brought to me by that person because they said they gave it to the postal carrier with a handwritten “wrong address” and it was delivered to their house a 2nd time a week later.
And the delivery driver needs to stop gossiping about what mail all the neighbors gets.
