Horrible Service! Drivers say package is delivered and left in mail box on delivery date and package is not there, it either shows up days later or Never!! Carrier also stuffs packages in small mail box and I have had to cut packages open, remove item and then pull out package wrapping! Mail delivery has been as late as 8pm!
The Placerville Post Office is great. They work their butts off to get the mail out and all the while going through lack of manpower. I don’t understand the bad remarks and it’s my opinion most don’t understand what it takes to sort, stack, load, and deliver. Not to mention all the attention they give to customers at the post office alone on a daily basis. I’ve seen these folks who wear the postal logo on their lapel go above and beyond for people waiting to pick up packages, as well as sending goods cross country, and all other services available. Yeah everybody has an agenda and timeline of their own, but please take into consideration you are one out of thousands on a personal mission that depends on a handful of competent and friendly postal workers to fulfill your request. Have been having packages delivered to the wrong address for over 2 years. Gone in to complain, asked them to tell driver, put large notes on BOTH the wrong and correct address (we found out where they continue to leave it) sent multiple emails to USPS about wrong address/not receiving…….to no avail. Blank stares all around. Every excuse has been used….
Tracey S, I/we can totally relate, with exactly the same complaints and experiences for the past @25 years, which would make one think that no one cares, more’s the pity, because, I WANT to like and support our USPS and, our local offices. We live on acreage and get our mail at a cluster mailbox. While we repeatedly get wrong mail, which should be delivered to one particular neighbor’s mailbox address, during the vacation months of July-August (I’m presuming is the excuse), we get their mail EVERY day. I’ve complained, tried re-inserting in the mail slot, thinking that that might trigger an obvious need for change, but, NOthing changes. I’m posting another note on the mailbox cluster today — maybe, for some reason, someone will care enough to do their job as is basic???
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST !!!!!!!!! I ONLY GET MY MAIL DELIVERED EVERY FEW DAYS AND NEVER KNOW IF I WILL EVER GET IT !!!! BY THE WAY ,I LIVE 1/2 BLOCK FROM THE PLACERVILLE POST OFFICE !!! PATHETIC MANAGEMENT ,TERRIBLE SERVICE .
