The service contines to decline from an already low level. The PO will not deliver packages to many homes, because those homes have central mail boxes in a different location. This means we have to go to the PO to pick up packages. Today was a good example. One worker valiantly manned the front. ONE. The line was long (so much for virus fears). I waited 35 minutes just to pick up a package. At least they had it. That’s 50/50 as many of my packages disappear into thin air.
Regular mail service is also a problem. For example, I get the Economist weekly. The most recent issue was delivered two weeks late. So much for staying current in the news. This is a common problem, yet the PO doesn’t miss an issue of junk mail delivered promptly so we can throw it out.
I wish I had something more positive to say, but I have not had a positive experience with the Santa Fe PO in about 12 years. Look to bad management at the top.
