  1. I had a Terrible Experience with the Post Office Clerk that I worked with today 08/13/2022. I visited the Post Office to do some returns and to refuse delivery of a package that was shipped to me. When I gave the Postal Clerk the returns she did not scan the items or give me a receipt. When I informed the Postal Clerk I needed a receipt because they were returns. She stated in a very rude manner “you didn’t say that” I informed her that she did not ask if I needed a receipt either. This is very unprofessional for a Postal Clerk to say to a customer when they ask for a receipt “you didn’t say that” The professional gesture a Postal Clerk should do is ask the customer if they need a receipt and not get smart with them when the customer ask for a receipt. I explained to the Postal Clerk that I had a package that was just sitting at their Post Office location for over 15 days that I needed returned to the sender. The Postal Clerk then argued with me stating that the package was not still there even though she did not even check. After going back and forth with me telling me it was not there. I explained to her that it was indeed still at her post office location and I needed her to check. I gave her my address and sure thing she went back to find that she was wrong and the package was still at the Post Office location. I told the postal clerk specifically that I did not want to sign for the package because I wanted to refuse it to have returned to the sender. The Clerk then Argued with me going back and forth, again. Stating that I know you want it returned to the sender but you have to sign for it. I explained to her that it did not make sense for me to have to sign for something that I wanted to refuse. 2 hours later I checked the Tracking # it showed the package was Picked Up by me but I did not have the package, I left it at the Post Office to be returned to the sender. This cause me a Huge Issue because I need it returned to the sender so I can get a refund. This was a Huge Problem so I had to take off work to go back to the Post Office for assistance with this package, again. Keep in mind I had originally visited this branch and requested to have the package returned on 08/04/2022 but it wasn’t returned. I called Customer Service and Opened a Case to have it returned but it was still sitting at the Post Office. When I arrived at the Office for the second time on 08/13/2022 there was no one at the front to assist customers. Me and other customers were waiting for like 10 minutes stating “Hello is anyone there?” The same clerk I had the issue with Shameka came out with a very Bad Attitude. She did not Apologize or Show Any Empathy for having multiple customers waiting 10 minutes with no one at front to assist. She simply stated with an Attitude “What do you need?” This is Very Rude and Unprofessional for anyone working in Customer Service to greet a customer by saying I quote “What do you need” If I greeted a customer this way at my job I would be fired that day. This is totally Unprofessional and Unacceptable for a person working in Customer Service to leave customer’s waiting in line for 10 minutes with no one working in the front. Then after 10 minutes of me and the other customer asking and pleading for someone to assist us. She comes out with a very Rude and Bad Attitude did not ask me “How can I help you” which is the professional way to greet a customer. She was very Rude and Disrespectful ask me “What do I need?” When her mistake is the very reason I had to take off work in emergency to come back to the post office to fix an issue that she created. I explained that we’ve been waiting 10 minutes with no one in front and she has an Attitude with me. She argued with me was Very Rude, Disrespectful, and Very Professional. This type of Behavior is Unacceptable for someone working in Customer Service. I had to speak to a Supervisor to correct the mistake that she made because I was not suppose to sign for the package to refuse delivery like I told her. She was suppose to just use the scanner to scan and have it returned. This has cause me a lot of Stress, cause me to Take Time off work, and the Clerk humiliated me by Arguing with me in front of Multiple Customers from a Mistake she Made and all the issues she has caused me. Her Behavior was Unacceptable and No Customer should have to go through the Rude Behavior, Bad Attitude, and Unprofessionalism that I have faced Multiple Times at this Post Office from 2 different clerks.
