Martinsville Post Office Reviews

  1. Recently. Service has been horrible. Both my husband and I have had issues with getting our packages. This is my third time where I have received notification that my package was delivered. They WERE NOT. I called the post office and they told me the same thing each time.. it was delivered our GPS tracking shows it pinged at your mailbox or it pinged at your porch. WRONG! The first 2 times my package miraculously showed up two days later. If that were true and the GPS paying that my home why did it come to days later. Mind you this is also happened to my husband at least two or three times. Same scenario package says delivered it was not, called the post office they said it was delivered per the GPS tracking and again the packages miraculously were delivered 2 days later. This time however it’s been four days I still have not received my package. They also said the day my package was delivered there was a substitute carrier. And we all know how substitute carriers do not make mistakes don’t we? They offered no help they simply suggested that because GPS said it was pinging that it was FACT. It didn’t matter that I told her what happened in the past and that they’re GPS said it was pinged at my house 2 other times on my deliveries and other times for my husband. I asked how could they explain that and the packages show up to days later? This time however it’s been four days and I still have not received my package. They wouldn’t even consider that there is a problem. I’ve lived in the same place for over 30 years and never has issues. But my carrier back then was Joyce Reeves who is now retired. She didn’t leave packages in the mailbox she drove back to my house and put them on the porch. She was awesome. Now all of the sudden we have new carriers and it’s happened 6 times in less than a year. Whatever carrier on the day of some of my deliveries no matter how big the boxes, they will shove it in the mailbox where I can barely get it out at times. There is an obvious issue and I am going to take it higher up to complain. It’s at the point it’s getting ridiculous. No wonder no one wants to use the post office anymore they would rather use FedEx or Amazon delivery. And all the times that I have had delivery from Fed ex or UPS Amazon never once have I had this issue either I’m curious if anyone else has had this problem.. i’ll bet if it was their packages they wouldn’t be so nonchalant about it.
