This post office is a nightmare … people believe that the United States Postal Service is civil service or it’s a government agency but it isn’t … it’s just that some laws and so forth protect the post office from its main competitors which would be the United Parcel Service (UPS) and FedEx, both of which are superior to the US post office
There are incredible idiots at the Hoffman Heights US Post Office: they have a history of poor management and people working there that are vicious and vindictive. There used to be an Asian lady working there that was wonderful and also an Asian man it was also wonderful and some younger guys but they seem to have all gone.
The desire to help is also disappeared … for Example Mark is rude and incompetent. If you’ve been at UPS or FedEx they would’ve fired him years ago … You can go to UPS or FedEx get a package shipped and you know exactly where it’s at and it arrives on time as scheduled. If you mail something from the Hoffman Heights post office you don’t know if it will ever see its destination.
