I am one of the church secretaries at St. Timothy Community Church. Our regular
carrier (who is very customer service oriented and kind) hasn’t been to our location in a while and we have experienced a lower level of service (carriers don’t always attempt to come in and pick up outgoing mail…we do have a buzzer at the door).
Today, I saw the postal truck pull up so I ran to the door in an attempt to let the
carrier know we had some outgoing mail. As I approached the door she was putting the mail in our mail slot and I spoke loudly to let her know we had outgoing mail. Either she didn’t hear me or she chose to ignore me. I opened the door and addressed her as “Madame” and proceeded to tell her that we had mail but she kept walking to her vehicle. I continued to call out to her and she finally turned around and rudely responded “WHAT!”. I asked about our regular carrier and I can’t remember her response but it was rude, totally unprofessional and extremely mean-spirited. She hollered out that she was trying to get back to her vehicle. There was “eye rolling” and she was very argumentative. She finally accepted our outgoing mail and did tell her that she had a very poor attitude. She told me that was my opinion.
I’m reasonably sure this young lady needs employment, however, she was so very rude. It was truly unbelievable as she did not display any level of customer service
or human kindness/respect. Simply put, she was awful and an extremely poor representative of the US Postal Service.
I trust this mail carrier will be counseled but I’d like a phone call from your office explaining how the aforementioned display of behavior is tolerated and/or accepted.
Please know that as a customer, I cannot and will not accept her behavior.

This post office gets 0 I had to move. Back to Gary because my other house bad fire, my my friends are sending me and my son things , so he comes in with the notice so I read it I requested if the gates are locked just drop over the gate better yet if u pull up just blow yr horn an that wil let us know since the kids took the door bell and we will get it we are right in the front any way we don’t know What time she comes so I sign the notice then I go out front pull up the flag then tape to the flag so the next day I go out to get the Mail only to find the notice in the mailbox wow really so the end up sending the packet back wow this young lady has four children and I told her she didn’t have t o but she insisted she said for all of the things I helped her with when all this chick had to do was place it ove the but oh no she puts the notice back in the box , man this people don’t have money to lose I going to Mack sure t the y get a refund wow how dumb
