As far as I’m concerned this post office has been one of the worst I have ever dealt with. Each time I have had to encounter them, they’ve been nothing but rude. The last straw was when they lost a package of mine that came from the United Kingdom.
On a Saturday over a month ago, I received a notification that my package had an attempted delivery. I live in an apartment complex and the USPS driver never even came to my door. He or she left the peach “sorry we missed you” form in my mailbox. I immediately went online and scheduled my package for pick up and gave specific detail on who’s picking it up and gave my number just in case there was and issue being it needed a signature and I’m sure that the USPS would not come to my door. The following Monday my partner went in with the form and spoke to a guy who said the package was not there.
I immediately called the post office and spoke to a guy named Chris and he said that he recalled someone going in to get the package but it was not there. He specifically said “sometimes we get lazy and don’t read the fine print”. How awful is that???? Way to res present USPS. Anyhow- I asked him where my package was being it was in their custody of course. He said he would call me back and he never did. I called back the next day and talked to Jennifer and she said that she can’t locate the package and the last scan was when it had the delivery attempt. I explained that I specifically went online for them to hold it for pick up and you let it go? How does this happen??- she could not answer my question…just a bunch of I dont knows.
I called back every day that week and got the same run around and talked to Chris again and he was certain the package was there but they just couldn’t find it. I asked him how can my package not get lost in transit from the United Kingdom -overseas- but yet get lost at a local post office. He couldn’t explain that. I let the weekend go by and called again the following week, no one can find my package- still missing. On the following Thursday I called again and talked to a guy who was a fill in and he said my package was there. I asked him if he was sure because I’ve been told it was not and I talked to Chris.
He put me on the phone with Chris and once again he said the same thing he couldn’t find it but he was sure the package was there. I’m beyond frustrated at this point. The next day, Friday I called again and spoke to Jennifer and asked for the manager and she said it was her. She is very rude and no one there has personal customer service. I made a claim on the package twice because the first one was closed a day later so I reopened it. Here was are a month later and still no package to be found. What kind of service is this USPS? Is this the the typical treatment you give people? Explain this please? I’m not a fan of you guys at all. Thank God for Amazon and FedEx.
