What is going on with our mail service it’s aweful. There are days we get no mail or it comes at 9pm!!
Also, I’m getting my neighbors mail happens alot. And I’m sure my neighbor is getting my mail. This is becoming a big problem.
USPS in Cape Coral 33990-2042 IS THE WORST post office I have ever dealt with in my life and I have lived in big cities and never seen this.
They know they mess up a lot that is why they don’t answer their phones.
Maybe if they were to get off their butts and deliver Mail by foot on each block they would stay awake !!!
I have been dealing with this for 9 years her on SE 14th Terrace (33990-2042) .
Tracking says packages were delivered to my address at door yesterday, checked all cameras and asked neighbors and MY ENTIRE STREET WAS SKIPPED !!!

Last time they were 5 blocks away thank goodness a honest woman got them and brought them to my house and it was medication for my rescue.
They don’t answer the phone, I can’t leave the house because I take care of my mom who is in home patient with hospice and I can’t leave her alone.
I get more mail that doesn’t belong to me than I get my own.
This post office and the workers are totally incompetent !!!
Now that Cape Coral has grow the mailboxes should be put at our door and have the postal delivery walk and put the mail at a mailbox at the door not across the street, That would not only make them wake up but would also increase their business because people don’t like leaving packages and mail across the street for the next day or whenever th they feel like delivering mail to our homes, this would also stop a lot of theft and mailboxes being run over by bored punks in cars.
We normally would never submit a public complaint, however, today was the last straw. Our mail carrier is the worst we have ever experienced. We came home today to find he didn’t pick up our mail that was supposed to go out today. We have watched him get out of his truck and deliver mail to the front door of our neighbors homes. We went through a construction period and he would literally get upset because a contractor was parked in front of the mailbox. We did our best to make sure the road was clear for him to stay in his truck and deliver our mail, but there were times it was beyond our control. Today he decided to not pick up and deliver our mail because the neighbors are now doing construction with several trucks obscuring our mailbox. THIS IS NOT IN OUR CONTROL and we are sick of this being an excuse for the mail carrier to NOT DO HIS JOB!!! PLEASE TAKE NOTE…THE POST OFFICE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTLANDISH DISPLAY OF FRUSTRATION HE CONSISTENTLY SHOWS TOWARD OUR EXPENSIVE MAILBOX. We spent a pretty penny to remodel our home and install a high end mailbox that should last for decades, but your mail carrier continues to slam open the iron door of the mailbox and we have videos to prove this unnecessary action. We highly encourage additional training that it is OK if a mailbox is obstructed since it only takes an extra 10 seconds to get out of your truck and DO YOUR JOB!!!
