Weaverville Post Office Reviews

In the past few months two first-class letters mailed at the Weaverville post office have either taken an extraordinary period of time for delivery or been lost altogether. One took five days to travel a mile down the road to another Weaverville address. The second, as of this writing, is two weeks and counting for a letter to Baltimore. Everyone understands that the pandemic has disrupted services but the extent to which the post office in Weaverville has had difficulties implies larger problems. When i asked at the counter about the situation I was told that they were unable to predict delivery times, although the Post Office website continues to state that 2-3 days for first class mail is expected. Please see if you can figure out what is going on and fix it. Thank you.
