Virginia Beach Post Office Reviews

  1. On the Morning of Monday December 12, 2022 I had a package that was marked undeliverable, Return to sender. I live in Minnesota, and needed the package to be delivered to an address in the virginia beach va, zip code 23452; once i received notification that it was marked return to sender, I was able to reach the post office and spoke with Dan ( didnt get his last name) who works in the post office of same zip code. Dan did an OUTSTANDING job listening to my concerns, assessing the situation and gave me solutions to my problem, he went so far as to hold my package until I could call him back and give him more specific delivery details! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is sorely lacking these days, but Dan went above and beyond. I just wanted to say thankyou and to give Dan is ” flowers”! btw I live in the Cold cold North, with customer service like I received today, It makes me want to pack up and MOVE to VA Beach VA if everyone else is as down to earth and hospitable as Dan!

  2. This is literally the worst USPS I have ever had the displeasure of working with. On multiple occasions, they have claimed that they’ve delivered a package, when in fact it has yet to be delivered. There is always a busy tone when you try to call this office. They have delivered my package to the wrong address on several occasions. The service at this post office and others like it is why the USPS is being out-competed by better companies. My wedding is coming up, and I’ve asked all my friends and family to send packages through UPS or FedEx, *not* USPS. I order a lot of things online, and I always choose UPS or FedEx whenever I can- I’ve avoided buying things from sellers who only ship through USPS, simply because this location is so unreliable and terrible, and I have no guarantee that I’ll get my packages on time! I’ve never had a problem with USPS until I moved here, and I’ve lived in at least five different locations with excellent service. This USPS location is terrible, and has spoiled my experience with USPS.
