Let me start off by saying – I never one write reviews on Government run facilities due to the fact that I’m sure all the workers are over worked and under payed. And almost everywhere I go.. DMV, Postal Service, etc.. Most workers aren’t crazy about their job, but they still do their job and provide customer service as they should.
Plover Postal Office – As a newly rental property manager, I have to deal with a lot of mail with my tenets and owners. So, my first experience at the plover location; I felt the need to say, “hey this is my first time ever being in here, Im not sure how the process works and was hoping you could help me”. Immediately, the worker looked at me with and said “What” with a frown. After I repeated myself and asked what I needed to do to send XYZ. She proceeded to degrade me as a human, point, hum, and give very little words to help me. Once I was done, I felt like a complete idiot and everyone around me felt the same, as she did the same thing with the next customer. Treated them as a 10yo and said “what?” 10x before finally getting them what they want.
Its very apparent someone hates there job and honestly should quit.
Experience #2. As I’m trying to figure out an address that’s on the border of x and y, and uses 2 postal zip codes. SO, going in and wanting some answers. I was met with the same person and same response. Once again, It took a hard 5min conversation to answer one question, as its apparent she wasn’t paying attention to what I said the first time.
I immediately went to the other location in central WI and was greeted with, “how are you, what can I help you with” and within 2min she answered my question and everything was solved. Very pleased with Stevens Point customer service. Plover on the other hand – Its very apparent went someone hates there job and hates “dealing with people”. Absolute abysmal customer service.
