My friend shipped items for my son’s wedding and the box showed up broken, dented, and you could hear the broken glass. The post master blamed my friend’s poor packing but she had wrapped the items in the airbag packing which was flat by the time it arrived due to the rough handling. The post master blamed it on my friend because she sent it ground, the cheapest way, and since she didn’t pay to insure it there is nothing she can do my friend is at fault. The package cost $42.80 to mail that was not cheap!!!!!! She did wrap it carefully!!!! The post master was rude, presumptuous, and condescending. She said that ground means they do not take the time to put light boxes on top. In the future we will use UPS.
