I am writing concerning the Post Office recently opened in Chromo, CO 81128. Prior to this, we had rural mail boxes located near the newly opened PO. They were a decent size and would hold mail of a few days. There were also enough parcel boxes to accommodate residents so that we didn’t have to drive into town to pick up parcels. Things seemed to be running very well. Last week all mail and parcel boxes were removed and we were given new boxes inside a trailer near by. Some boxes are very small and some about 4x that size. Distribution is based on our PO Box #s which didn’t change. There are not as many parcel boxes so that who gets a key to one and who gets a slip appears to be random. If you get a slip you have to wait for the hours that the PO is open. Since we can’t buy stamps or mail parcels from the new PO, there doesn’t seem to be any benefit to the change. In fact, many of us find it confusing and inconvenient. I suppose what’s done is done, but at least you could replace the different size boxes with boxes of equal size. Thank you for our attention to this matter.
The Pagosa Springs post office is nothing more than a bunch of cheap hot dogs,
lips and assholes.
