Since when can a post office driver refuse to deliver mail? We had a mailbox that was infested with ants, so its was replaced. We were then told the post was to short. So we replaced the already new post that was set. We are going on day 4 with no mail because the driver and the other lady at the post office stated that we need to buy another bigger mailbox because we get to many packages in the mail that do not fit and it takes to much time to pull in our driveway and set them on our porch. Our driveway is about 25 feet. We went to the post office today, which is where we were given this explanation. When we asked for our mail, the lady said the driver has it all. and has had it since she refuses to deliver it. This is absolutely ridiculous. This is happening in Milledgeville IL 61051. I have asked other employees of the post office. They have stated that they can not require anyone to get a bigger mailbox. and what she is doing is wrong. It is also considered theft.
